Cape Verde’s first marina was built in the city of Mindelo. Marina Mindelo has a modern and efficient structure, which brings more security and comfort to the sailors who call at the Bay of Porto Grande, in São Vicente.

Started in the end of October 2007, the owners of yachts now have a range of high standing services at their disposal, from mooring, , water, electricity, 24-hour security and wirless lan (WiFi). There is a separate water deposit for the Marina which is essential in Cape Verde, due to the permanent shortages of watersupply.

In a second phase in 2008, the professional marina will be equipped with a fuel station for Diesel and Gasoline ,WC and bathrooms. The yachtservice www.boatcv.com is also placed in the Marina house on the pier.
